“Be a leader everywhere in your life”
Leadership is not a “day job.” It’s an attitude, mindset, way of being, and lifestyle. Don’t be a leader at work and a “non-event” at home or vice-versa. Be courageous and make a difference everywhere. Express your leadership platform and brand by making a difference to others, not merely by promoting your personal agenda or make yourself look better than others.
Don’t expect to be perfect at this. However, as long as you stay clear, deliberate and awake about your leadership stance you will be able to catch yourself when you stumble, fall or don’t behave consistent with your leadership commitment. Self-awareness will enable you to make corrections and return to being a leaders everywhere in your life.
