Leadership Tip of the Week

Focus on what you have, not what you don’t have!

Most people seem to focus by default on what they don’t have; the job, the car, the partner they don’t have and want.

There is nothing wrong with having goals. On the contrary. However, the best mindset and space from which to pursue goals is one of success and accomplishment.

If you are constantly in a focus, conversation and mood oriented around what you don’t have and how life will only be perfect if and when you get these things, you will project a negative energy and you will come across as someone who can’t achieve his or her dreams.

However, if you focus on what you do have and you own it, celebrate it and feel accomplished and blessed by it, you will project a positive energy and you will come across as someone who can achieve anything they want.

When it comes to pursuing and achieving your goals, the energy you project and how you come across to yourself and others makes a decisive difference.

Believe it!
