Before he ever set foot in a boardroom, Gershon Mader learned leadership where it matters most: in the field.
His military service as an officer in an elite commando combat unit, then team high performance and effective communication coach, taught him invaluable lessons—about commitment, trust, cohesion and accountability under pressure, as well as the critical role of shared determination and resolve- which became the foundation of everything he teaches today.
Early in his career, Gershon also worked as a counsellor with underprivileged youth in underserved communities and later managed an international transformation training and consulting firm, where he worked closely with entrepreneurs and small businesses, coaching and training them in taking their business to a new level. These experiences gave him an unusually broad and human perspective on what drives people — and what holds them back. He brought that perspective into the corporate world, and it has never left him.
